Seville & the Arabs

Al-Andalus
Triana Bridge

Description

During the Middle Ages, Al-Andalus was the name the Muslims called the territory where they settled in the Iberian Peninsula. Sbiliya was the name of the city, a place of the three cultures (Muslims, Hebrews, and Christians). They contributed their knowledge, customs, and beliefs to the cultural flourishing of this land. With our guided visit, you will discover the Islamic architectural legacy visible in the current city, such as the famous Torre del Oro, its prominent mosques, part of the Almohad wall, the souk, or the Hammam, among others.  You will get to know the Al-Andalus's footprint in today's culture, gastronomy, art, and language.
You can complement the tour with the Arab baths of Seville and thus immerse yourself in the atmosphere of an authentic Al-Andalus Hammam.
