The Art of Flamenco

Seville, the cradle of flamenco
Triana Bridge

Description

Seville and its famous Triana neighborhood are the birthplaces of flamenco in Andalusia. Flamenco is an art born from the musical fusion of the different cultures that settled in this territory and is still alive in the widespread feeling of Andalusia. Flamenco is one of Andalusian's most important cultural aspects, becoming recognized and declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in 2010. With our guided tour, you will discover the history of flamenco in Seville; you will learn about its roots, the origin of the neighborhood where it was forged, the mixture of cultures that originated it, and the "Palos" (musical styles) that were born in this cradle.
